archalien?

archalien is a home server I've maintained since 2011, surviving multiple moves and serving whatever I needed it to at the time.

The name is a portmanteau of Arch Linux and Alienware — the OS and hardware it's run on for most of its life. But mostly, it just sounds cool.

Over the years, archalien has worn a lot of hats. Media server. File share. VPN gateway. Dev sandbox. Its primary role has always been the same though: a neat playground for building and hosting shared services for family and friends.
